THE WHITE HOUSE | DONALD TRUMP & VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY | JULY 31, 2019

There is no known audio recording of the July 25, 2019 phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. What was released by the White House at the time looks like a transcript, but was marked “Memorandum of Telephone Conversation” (TELCON), which is not a verbatim transcript but rather a summary “developed with assistance from voice recognition software along with experts and note takers listening,”

Donald Trump was impeached for this phone call, accused of a quid pro quo, for discussing a concern over Biden’s actual quid pro quo (see this post: Joe Biden’s Ukranian quid pro quo).
