Call for Nobel Peace Prize Nomination for President Trump as Hostage Releases Continue

In light of the ongoing release of hostages in the Middle East, an official letter nominating President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize has garnered attention. The letter was authored by Professor Anat Alon-Beck, an American-Israeli law professor, and was made public during an interview with i24NEWS.

Professor Alon-Beck praised President Trump for his efforts to advance peace in the Middle East, specifically highlighting his role in the recent hostilities and hostage negotiations. She emphasized that her call for the nomination was based on Trump’s “commitment to advancing peace in the Middle East, securing the speedy release of hostages in one of the most complex geopolitical arenas of our time, and his fight against antisemitism.”

The President has long claimed that his administration played a pivotal role in fostering peace in the region, particularly through the Abraham Accords, which established normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations. Trump’s supporters have lauded these agreements as groundbreaking achievements for Middle Eastern diplomacy.

Whether or not the Nobel Committee will take this nomination seriously remains to be seen, but it is clear that Trump’s actions continue to influence discourse surrounding peace and stability in the Middle East.

American-Israeli Law Professor: Donald Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Professor Anat Alon-Beck has nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to promote peace in the Middle East, with the release of hostages and the Abraham Accords as the backdrop.

The American-Israeli law professor Anat Alon-Beck has nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

In the letter, partially quoted by VINnews, Professor Alon-Beck praised President Trump for his efforts to advance peace in the Middle East, specifically highlighting his role in the recent hostilities and hostage negotiations. She emphasized that her call for the nomination was based on Trump’s “commitment to promoting peace in the Middle East, securing the swift release of hostages in one of the most complex geopolitical arenas of our time, and his fight against antisemitism.”

Anat Alon-Beck is a professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Ohio, USA, where she teaches law and economics. In an interview with I24News, she explained that the reason she nominated the president while the situation in Israel remains challenging is that the deadline was approaching.

“Remember that this process takes a long time. The 31st was the deadline, and I submitted the nomination just the day before. It’s very challenging, and it’s heartwarming for me to see that even before he became president, hostages are being released. He’s initiating incredible measures and sending people to do this. This is fantastic, and I believe that if he manages to accomplish this, which is extremely challenging, then he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize,” she stated.

“This is very, very difficult, with many hostages still being held. But if anyone can do it, I believe President Trump is the one who can.”

Previously Nominated

Christian Tybring-Gjedde has previously nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, particularly for his efforts in facilitating the Abraham Accords.

“A representative tried to nominate him, but he didn’t get the prize. I thought that if anyone should receive an award, it’s President Trump. Look at what he’s trying to do now and also normalize relations with Saudi Arabia,” she highlighted.

Trump Deserves It

The professor believes the time is now.

“He’s going to bring peace to an area that is so challenging. He’s about to create a new Middle East, a new world order, and he’s doing it in peaceful ways. That’s exactly why he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.”

She noted that due to her position, she is eligible to nominate candidates for the Peace Prize. “I’m a law professor, and I could choose people to nominate. I discussed it with friends and said I had to nominate President Trump this year.”

Beck checked and found that no one else had nominated him. “I felt that he truly deserves it, also for his fight against antisemitism. He has done incredible things for us, for Jews in Israel and around the world and in the USA, and for that, he deserves an award.” She urged: “If people from the committee can hear me: I’m pleading with you, President Trump will be able to free all the hostages. He deserves it 100%.”
